Syrians in N. Iraq/Kurdistan
HELP FOR THE YAZIDI
Our team on the ground is striving to offer food, water, and shelter but they need your help. We can purchase these needs locally in Iraq with your generous donations.
Winter has been very difficult this year. Several families died in their sleep in February due to the cold. They were found huddled together in the morning after a particular cold night. Imagine fleeing bombing on your home, to live in tents or concrete block shelters with open windows, experiencing one of the harshest winters ever and knowing friends nearby have died. These families are still in "crisis" mode.
Our team will transition them after much relational counseling and coaching toward finding solutions that might keep them safe and alive while they await their next steps. Some want to return to their homes, but cannot yet. We will work to help them find education, food, water and other basic needs.
Please help with a gift of $100, $500, or $1000 from your family to help these families. Every gift will make an impact - gifts of any size welcome.
Please note "Syrian Refugees" as a project.
Immediate aid would include blankets, heaters, baby formula and diapers, clothing, and food items.
