Martins atanda

Martins Atanda, Doctor of Missiology is an ordained Episcopal Minister who became a missionary to the Non Christians of North West Nigeria and Francophone West and Central Africa. He has been in missions for two decades.


Due to his passion to help the poor, Martins holds the vision to end suffering and share the love of God with as many people as possible by empowering champions locally through Missions Matter, reaching the continent of Africa and beyond.


He is married to Shade Atanda an attorney at Law, they are blessed with three children – Zethar (19), Simchah (12) and Natsach (9). They make their home in Sokoto, Nigeria.


Together, raising champions who train villagers to build a strong foundation that will grow into a thriving existence. Combined with the hope Christ brings, the community becomes unstoppable, unshakeable, and perseveres. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9


The champions often use Jesus Film Project films as outreach tools when engaging villagers.  Seeking to reach the least and the last of the unreached people groups (UPGs)
